In this article ome of the most important evaluations of the schemes established since the labour market reform in 1994 are discussed. It is possible to claim that the schemes are successful. Some of the activated persons have succeeded in finding an ordinary job or have started a formal education. Furthermore, a lot of the activated persons believe that their general socio-economic habitués has been improved as a result of being activated at some sort of scheme.
