"How to reduce workplace accidents" is the title of a new report of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. The 22 cases of accident-prevention approaches from the 15 Member States presented provide detailed information about the way these approaches were implemented and the experiences in doing so. The report also includes opinions of key stakeholders such as company management, safety and health managers, safety and health authorities, worker representatives, and representatives of the developers of the schemes. It does not seek to promote any of the particular schemes presented. Its aim is to stimulate accident prevention at the workplace by providing examples of successful prevention programs.
